Custom recreation of a 15th C Italian arming sword by French master swordmaker Dr Fabrice Cognot. Superb. Wrought iron hilt made from a piece taken from period iron gate at a chateau in Dijon, France. Very light, beautifully balanced, and very fast in the hand.
If you know Fabrice Cognot’s work, you know the qualities of this sword. Includes a handmade leather and wood core protective “storage” scabbard made by Cognot. An exquisite piece, worth far more than the starting bid.
