    Description

    This is a wonderful
    Dias de los Muertos Large
    wood Retablo / Shadow Box entirely  Hand Painted and handmade.
    The central image is that of a
    Catrina Skeleton ridding her bike.
    This piece has a
    large piece of glass that slides in at the top.  I have removed this piece of glass due to reflections on the glass and to photograph it better.   But rest assured it will ship with the glass in place.
    This retablo was made by a lovely
    lady I have known for years in Tulum, by the name of
    Mirna.  She signs her work "Sirena."
    This piece make a
    great
    gift for the Day of the Dead Collector
    or fabulous addition to
    your own Folk Art Collection.
    It measures;  12 inches tall by 9 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
    This is a contemporary example of a
    long tradition of handmade retablos where the
    artist has
    replaced a religious figure with a Secular Image....
