I’m letting a lot of my collection go;
This is my favorite trainer sword, I used if for multiple re-enactments and armored fencing. So it does show some dings and kinks in the blade. It also shows some very light rust in various spots. It’s a blunt trainer so it does not have an edge and wasn’t designed to.
The blade was purposefully made thicker and slightly more flexible for safety. However I do not think it meets ACL regulations without modifications.
The messer was custom made for me in Poland.
It’s extremely light, even for a training blunt and closely matches in weight to the sharp version the smith produced. This is a very nice sword and it needs a forever home.
