The Green Slime are here! The Toho/MGM coproduction of The Green Slime is my litmus test for monster movie sympatico. If you are unable to appreciate this film's theme song, its evil second cousin to Sigmund's sea monsters scorching space cepahalopods, the razzle dazzle of its postmodern furnished spaceships, or Luciana Paluzzi in a skintight glittersuit than we are unlikely to agree on much else. So please excuse my pent up passion for this 4" figure in the "Monstarz" line that offers not only a cyclopian critter reaching out to give you a hot hug but Victor Livoti's utopian movie poster art on multiple box panels. Now who is going to put out the Green Slime jiggler??? Or the jello mold????
