SWORD WITH SCABBARD HIGHLAND SCOTISH BROAD SWORD PARTS PROJECT NO HILT !!!!!!

Description

For sale is a Reproduction basket hilt, backsword, schiavona sword, or Scottish broadsword.
Blade is approximately 40" and Scabbard is approximately 34 1/2"
This is a MODERN piece, that appears to be aged and distressed See Pics.
The blade has good temper and a matching scabbard with a ball drag
Condition Issues as follows
- The Hilt does not Match and is NOT properly fitted and only constitutes parts.
- The Tang is threaded ( seen on some originals) to allow replacement or repair of the Hilt.
- The Pommel is correct for a Scottish Broadsword.
*replacement Basket Hilts are available from various manufacturers- not provided! *
This would make for a Great project or serve as a good opportunity to pick up repair parts or a scabbard.
